We're excited to announce the launch of our brand new Plan-IT website — completely rebuilt from the ground up and designed entirely in-house by our own team.
Why we rebuilt it
Our previous site had served us well for many years, but it was starting to show its age. Pages were getting slower, the mobile experience wasn't great, and the design no longer reflected the quality of service we deliver to our clients. Rather than patch things up, we decided to start fresh.
The result? A website that loads almost instantly, looks great on any device, and gives you everything you need without the clutter.
Works on every device
Whether you're browsing on your phone during a commute, using a tablet on-site, or sitting at a desktop in the office, the new site adapts to fit your screen perfectly.
- On your phone — clean single-column layout with an easy-to-use mobile menu. Every button and link is sized for comfortable tapping.
- On a tablet — layouts adjust so you see more content without feeling cramped.
- On desktop — full navigation with dropdown menus that let you find any service, county, or town in a couple of clicks.
Text sizes adjust smoothly too — headings and body text are always readable no matter how large or small your screen is.
Free interactive tools
We've built a brand new Tools section with free, hands-on resources designed to make your life easier:
- Monitor Cable Guide — not sure which cable you need for your monitor? This visual tool shows you every connector type (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, VGA, DVI and more) with clear diagrams. Pick what ports you have and it tells you exactly which cable or adapter to buy. No jargon, no guesswork.
- SOS Remote Support — need help right now? This step-by-step guide walks you through connecting with one of our engineers for remote support. It even detects which browser you're using and shows you exactly where to click to open the downloaded file — with visual instructions tailored to Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

We've created dedicated pages for every county and town we serve across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Each page has been written specifically for that area — not just the same content with a different town name dropped in. You'll find local context, the services available near you, and how quickly we can get to you.

Designed for everyone
We've put a lot of work into making the site accessible to everyone, including people who use screen readers, navigate with a keyboard, or have visual impairments:
- Keyboard friendly — you can navigate the entire site using just a keyboard. Menus, forms, pop-ups and interactive tools all respond to Tab, Enter and Escape.
- Screen reader ready — we've added the right labels and descriptions behind the scenes so screen readers can describe every element properly.
- Accessibility options — there's a built-in accessibility panel (the icon in the bottom-left corner) where you can increase text size, turn on high contrast, switch to a clearer font, underline all links, reduce animations, or apply other adjustments. Your preferences are remembered for next time.
- Easy on touch screens — all buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably, even on smaller phones.
Your privacy, your choice
When you first visit the site you'll see a cookie banner with three clear options — Accept all, Reject optional, or Manage preferences. We don't use sneaky tricks to push you into accepting. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
Lightning fast
We've built the site to be as fast as possible. Pages load in under a second on most connections, images load only when you scroll to them, and there's no heavy background code slowing things down. It's noticeably snappier than most business websites — give it a try and see for yourself.
Built in-house, supported in-house
As an IT company, we believe in practising what we preach. This website was designed, built, written and is maintained entirely by our own team — the same people who support your business every day. No agencies, no freelancers, no bought templates.
